South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2020: It is a part of Eastern Railways and one of the 18 railway zones in India. It’s headquarters at West Bengal, Kolkata, India and Garden Reach. South Railway also runs regular electric multiple units services to areas adjacent to Kolkata, Amta, Medinipur, from Howrah to Kharagpur, Santragachi to Shalimar, Balasore Rourkela and Tatanagar. When the erstwhile Bengal Nagpur Railway portion was separated, and a new zone of the South Eastern Railway came into existence on 1 August 1995.

- Matriculation (Matriculate or 10th class in 10+2 examination system) from a recognized Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (excluding additional subjects) and an ITI Pass certificate (in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done) granted by the NCVT.
Relevant Trade: Fitter / Turner /Electrician / Welder (G&E) / Mechanic (Diesel) / Machinist / Painter / Refrigerator & AC Mechanic / Electronics & Mechanic / Cable Jointer/Crane Operator / Carpenter / Lineman / Wireman / Winder (Armature) / Trimmer / MMTM(Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance) / Forger & Heat Treater
Age limit (as on 01.01.2020): 15 to 24 years
Upper age limit is relaxable by:
- For OBC Candidates: 3 Years
- For SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years
