DESCRIPTION: We are looking for passionate, experienced software developers that can lead a team of developers in delivering high-quality software solutions to support a variety of customer use cases and are scalable to handle amazon volume.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Developers in the team need a strong understanding of Computer fundamentals and practical experience in building full-stack, large scale distributed systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field with 1+ years professional experience in software development
· Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as Java or C++
· Experience with web-based applications and/or web services-based applications, especially at massive scale, is also helpful.
· Good understanding of CS fundamentals, data structures and algorithms
· Working knowledge of UNIX or Linux systems
· Very good interpersonal and communication skills
· Obsession with quality and customer experience
· Attention to detail coupled with the ability to think abstractly
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Has experience in mentoring other software developers
· Strong desire to build, sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
· Excellent written communication and verbal agility are strong assets.
