About the role:–

The purpose of this position is to support procurement policy and process streamlining for Flipkart central procurement team and help drive efficiency, better adoption, and better compliance with process across multiple stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

  • Draft next level process / SOPs for Procurement team
  • Create education nuggets / communication mechanism, for educating stakeholders on procurement process.
  • Execute the stakeholder education program
  • Participate in fresh Procurement Policy draft and roll out.

About the team

Commercial team is the central function that procures all materials and services required for use by Flipkart. Commercial team’s mission is to enable internal stakeholders procure suitable materials and services with requisite quality, at an optimal cost, and in a timeline aligned with business goals. Commercial team’s objective is to partner with and enable internal customers on their procurement needs. The engagement spans across the process of sourcing, supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, process of Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO).
