About this opportunity: This role is responsible for the coordination, management, delivery, and execution of MS Broadcast Operations, ensuring delivery of Broadcast services to customers, possibly on customer site, including proactive and reactive services to meet planned and late delivery content as agreed within the WLA. The role provides services to both Managed Broadcast Operations as well as Broadcast Professional Services. Enter program schedules, synopses and rich metadata on to a database which serves electronic media, websites and the press, for both TV and radio. Maintaining accurate channel schedules, writing appropriate synopses, creating series links between episodes and handling late changes quickly and accurately. Fostering excellent relationships with broadcasters and clients. Periodic involvement in user-testing developments on the database.
What you will do:
- Quality-assuring or sourcing channel & program information from broadcasters, agencies, or websites for use on digital platforms!
- Build rich metadata for premium programs, including, but not limited to, extended credits, synopses, awards, keywords, and series descriptions!
- Entering channel schedules and program information on to a-database in accordance with house style and client-specific requirements.
- Writing program listings which are publishable, authoritative, and effective for a wide readership, including broadcasters, program makers, as well as viewers.
- Writing synopses for series, movies, and documentaries broadcast on the channel/platform.
- Ensuring that all changes are promptly reflected on the-database.
- Assuming responsibility for channels during the absence of colleagues.
- Liaising optimally with-broadcasters and platforms and handling client enquiries politely and efficiently.
- Writing, proofreading, subbing, correcting, and improving the television listings data received from broadcasters for database.
- Classifying and harmonizing different program genres and performing updates and changes to the program schedules.
- Regular verification of data integrity.
- Performing sophisticated scheduling tasks for the assigned TV channels and maintaining high quality in the production.
- Responsible for Quality translations done by team members of the same language.
- Searching and analyzing official websites for the appropriate program selection and matching the same with metadata in the system application.
- Communication through emails and calls regarding the TV program list requests, maintaining regular updates, and raising the special needs to the clients by translation and interpretation.
