Roles and Responsibilities: This is role which will primarily focus on performing day to day BAU task and ensure the tasks and controls are completed on agreed timelines with the requesting community. The individual is expected to work closely with team members and stakeholders with a view of understanding the dynamics and challenges of the role. - Responsible for ensuring that all book static requests (i.e. book and portfolio opening, amendment, deactivation) and appropriate hierarchy mappings are completed in a timely manner & meet the firm standards.
- Verification of the trade has been booked to an active book in the golden source
- Checking consistency and accuracy of book population between HMS Golden Source and systems (FO and BO)
- Critical/Key Data elements (CDE/KDE) meet the minimum data quality standards
- Investigation and root cause analysis on any new exceptions in a timely manner.
- Attestation of ownership of books, relationship mapping and attribute accuracy
- Active engagement to understand the Data Quality and Governance aspect of BHM.
- Participate in User Acceptance Tests (UATs), as required, on any system enhancements or roll-outs
- Ensure that processes adhere to appropriate quality standards, with reference to internal and external compliance rules, and are comprehensively documented.
- Ensures complete, accurate, quality and timely reports sent to stakeholders, with proper adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Responsible for monitoring and execution of key controls within the B&H space.
- Active engagement to understand the Data Quality and Governance aspect of BHM.
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards and address audit points and/or any issues raised by regulators in a timely manner. Foster a compliance culture within the team, managing compliance risk and ensuring that the necessary training is completed. Optimizes relations with regulators.
