About the Company: C-DAC was created in November 1987, originally as the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing Technology (C-DACT). This was in response to issues purchasing supercomputers from foreign sources. After being denied a Craysupercomputer by the United States in 1987, due to military use concerns, India started a programme to develop an indigenous supercomputer and C-DAC was created as part of this programme. Supercomputers were considered a double-edged weapon capable of assisting in the development of nuclear weapons.

Project Engineer:
- First class BE/ B.Tech/ M.Sc/ ME/ M.Tech in Computers/ IT/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Civil/ Mechanical/ Engineering/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics OR First Class MCA
- Experience: Post qualification experience for 0 – 10 years in the relevant field
Project Engineer – Bioinformatics:
- First Class BE/ B.Tech/ M.Sc/ ME/ M.Tech/ Ph.D in Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology/ Scientific Computing/ Modeling & Simulation
- Experience: Post qualification experience for 0 – 5 years in the relevant field
Project Engineer – Pharmacy Informatics:
- First Class Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) OR First Class Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm)
- Experience: Post qualification experience for 0 – 5 years in the relevant field
Project Engineer – Geophysics:
- First Class M.Sc/ ME/ M.Tech/ Ph.D in Geophysics/ Applied Geophysics/ Exploration Geophysics
- Experience: Post qualification experience for 7 – 10 years in the relevant field
Project Support Staff – Language/ Linguistics Assistant:
- BA in Linguistics/ Applied Linguistics/English with 50% OR
- MA in Linguistics/ Applied Linguistics /English with 50 % and Computational Linguistics training
- Experience: Post qualification experience for 3 – 7 years in the relevant field
Project Support Staff – Admin Support Staff:
- Any Graduate with 50% OR Any Post Graduate with 50%
- Experience: Post qualification experience for 3 – 7 years in the relevant field
Selection Process: Selection will be based on the written/ skill test/ interview
