- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with key cybersecurity concepts, including firewalls, encryption, threat detection, offensive and defensive mechanisms and network security,
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking, and common security tools (e.g., antivirus software, intrusion detection/prevention systems).

- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) tools and other security platforms for signs of potential threats or suspicious activities.
- Help in performing vulnerability scans and assessments of IT infrastructure, identifying security weaknesses, and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the investigation and analysis of security incidents, including data breaches, malware infections, and other cyber threats.
- Aid in the development and revision of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to enhance the organization’s security posture.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices, and provide insights to the team.
- Document findings from assessments, incident investigations, and research. Assist in maintaining logs and records of cybersecurity events.
- Support the development and delivery of cybersecurity awareness training for employees.
- Participate in internal and external security audits and help prepare reports based on the findings.
- Should possess knowledge of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing process and tools.
