Job Description:
We are looking for a Software Engineer with a proven record of developing and delivering enterprise-class software. In this role, you will be responsible for design, architecture and delivery of a product feature or component. You will work in a fast-paced environment delivering product and feature increments in short iterations. Your technical skills will be very critical to deliver product functionalities across releases.

Your Responsibilities:
As an integral part of the Core Metadata team you will be responsible for the following:
- Be very hands-on in understanding the low-level working details of the product.
- Building highly scalable cloud native application.
- Develop excellent understanding in breadth and depth of Informatica’ s products.
- Working with product managers, quality assurance engineers and user experience designers to build the best products for our users
- Working in a small agile team of highly motivated and energetic professionals
- Interacting with QA and documentation teams to clearly communicate the features and behaviors of the system
- Assisting customers and field engineers with troubleshooting issues and problems
- Be a proven performer and team player that enjoy challenging assignments in a high-energy and fast-growing distributed workplace

Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Master in Computer Science in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline from top tier engineering schools.
- Strong coding skills. Should write good code. Must be sound on design with a good understanding of common patterns
- Competence in Data Structures and Algorithms
- You have experience in thin client technologies like JavaScript, ES6, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and React JS.

- Good knowledge of working in a Unix environment (shell scripts, build systems)
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills

- Working Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is plus
