- Responsible for setting up of policies for the undwerwriter to review
- Review correspondence and applications to identify which of the tasksbelow is required.
i. Utilize Clearance/Submission/Policy to launch new submissions
ii.Creating activities to support the correspondence received in the mailbox
iii.Order appropriate supporting documents
iv.Import related communication, applications and underwriting reports to underwriting file and content management systems.
- Assign appropriate activities as per the UW and CSR workload structure spreadsheet
- Rating, prepping, and entering new business, renewals, and endorsements
- Processing cancellations, reinstatements, and rewrites
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Graduate in any Discipline
- High level of accuracy when copleting tasks
- Proficient PC skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic Communication Skills – Verbal skills of >=3 on a 5 point scale.
Basic Skills:
- Comprehension – Ability to clearly understand the problem statement.
- Mathematical skills – Ability solve simple & complex calculations.
- Typing speed of min 25 WPM/85% accuracy.
- Insurance Knowledge – Basic understanding about what is Insurance.
- Ability to understand the end to end process flow and steps involved in each of the processes.
